HP90, the nature-inspired CO2 heat pump system producing DHW effectively and sustainably
27.5.2020
HP 90 is a CO2 heat pump system for the production of domestic hot water up to 90°C; the Enerblue system, "inspired by nature", uses CO2, making the most of its full potential as a refrigerant in terms of efficiency and sustainability
Among the many benefits of using CO2 as a refrigerant, there is its high thermodynamic performance and a virtually zero impact on the environment: this is why choosing the HP90 system solves any concern relating to international restrictions and regulations applicable to the use of high GWP refrigerants and helps to preserve a healthy environment by avoiding harmful emissions to the atmosphere.
HP90, available in several configurations - air-water, water-water and air-water with cooling recovery - is extremely flexible and suitable for installation with any system.
The wide air-water range allows for the production of high temperature DHW, with a COP of 3.2, which translates into significant savings in utility bills; the version with cooling recovery option achieves even better results, raising the energy efficiency to a COP of 3.7 with a total efficiency ratio of 6.4.
The HP90 heat pump system can produce more than 20,000 litres of domestic hot water per day - an ideal solution for large facilities such as hospitals, hotels, factories and large housing complexes.
The use of heat pump technology and a latest generation green refrigerant ensures remarkable energy savings and lower polluting emissions: compared to an electric boiler, savings of 700 kWh per day and 100 tons of CO2 emissions are achieved in a year.
Finally, the management of each DHW production plant that relies on the potential of HP90 can be easily monitored at any time via a remote control system.
Find out more about the operation of the HP90 CO2 heat pump by viewing the information video prepared by Enerblue: in just a few minutes, you will find out all about the advantages granted by this efficient system and the technical features that make it the ideal solution for sustainable, cost-efficient production of DHW.
Chillventa 2024 - the countdown has started
Just less than 3 months until 8 October 2024, the opening day of Chillventa, the international event that takes place in Nuremberg and at which we will be present as exhibitors.
INWED 2024: International Women in Engineering Day
23 June marks International Women in Engineering Day (INWED), which recognises the incredible contribution of women engineers to the profession and encourages more girls to pursue careers in engineering. We introduce Roberta, one of our Project Leader and first hired female engineer. We talked about her career path and what advice she would give to those starting out.
LEAF: Enerblue's guiding method into the future
We decided to embark on a path that would make us even more efficient in our processes, more impactful and faster in product innovation, and more cohesive as a group.
